Rolling laboratory, built by General Electric for developmental test purposes, is 4-unit 6000-hp diesel electric locomotive with Cooper-Bessemer turbosupercharged engines, and has been in freight service on Erie since 1954; notes on basic design of switchers of 400 and 600 hp and road switchers up to 1800 hp, adaptable to variable requirements in different countries.
