Basic concepts of fish passage through dams and their significance with reference to passage through turbines; test procedures and summarized results of fingerling survival in passing through high speed model turbines and prototype turbine under 450 ft hydraulic head are presented; investigations were conducted in behalf of planning of water resource development in Pacific northwest.
