Tests show that wooden boxes, waterproof corrugated fiberboard boxes and perforated boxes containing mandarin oranges exhibit only small differences in temperature and humidity fluctuation; carbon dioxide tended to accumulate more in waterproof fiberboard boxes causing damage to fruit.
