Double-decker 30-ft long test vehicle used in road test was fitted with 11.3-liter A.E.C. AV691 6-cyl diesel engine; its bore and stroke dimensions are 130 mm and 142 mm respectively; AV691 in this application is set to produce 128 bhp at 1800 rpm, but is capable of producing up to 192 bhp at 2000 rpm; results of road test are summarized with respect to fuel consumption, performance of brakes, and gears, suspension and road holding; driver and passenger viewpoints.
