Measurement of transient piston temperature in diesel engine for traction service; method for continuous recording of piston temperature at many points described is based on contact point method with some modifications; theoretical and experimental investigations of method are given, and possibility of application is discussed; equipment consists of several contact points in engine, two condensers, and resistor.
