Specially-designed components of 210-hp hydrostatic transmission that drives twin propellers on rudderless boat; master-slave sterring actuator converts variable angular positions of boat's steering wheel into variable propeller speeds; hold-down cylinders automatically lift propellers out of water in case they hit underwater obstruction; same cylinders automatically hold propellers in water when propellers operate in reverse, and act as shock absorbers; total system fluid circulates through motors about 40 times/min.
