Overall vibrational response of elastic 1/16-scale model of S-IC stage LOX tank was experimentally investigated under longitudinal excitation; several parameters were varied to determine their influence on vibration, namely, liquid level, internal ullage pressure, and presence of stiffeners and ring baffles; it was found that elastic tank responses under longitudinal excitation primarily appeared in form of axisymmetric, nonaxisymmetric harmonic, and parametric modes; overall behavior of model.
