Acoustic noise data obtained within shroud of three space vehicles during major flight events of lift-off, transonic pressure, and maximum dynamic pressure are presented, as well as sound pressure levels measured external to shroud during lift-off; also given are vibration data which were measured at spacecraft/adapter interface; data comparisons are made of various measurements to establish noise reduction properties of Nimbus shroud and other design and environmental test criteria for later spacecraft.
