Describes progressive changes in inspection and overhaul system that finally developed into present system of regular inspections at intervals of 1000 miles of operation, which include inspection of parts that give most frequent trouble, draining of crankcase oil, and greasing of chassis; general and more thorough inspection after each 4000 miles; and general overhaul of chassis and body at intervals that average 30,000 miles; 1000-mile inspection is made between runs or at night and does not in-terfere with regular operation of motor coaches.
