Design of rail support ties is based on that of BS-60 ties; to enable current support to be mounted, tie was extended by 210 mm on one side; to prevent it from taking part in transmission of vertical forces to ballast, this extension was weakened by raising its bottom by 35 mm; to compensate unavoidable tolerance at current rail support and to enable distances to be adjusted in accordance with rail wear, current rail supports are fastened to tie by means of long bolt holes; wooden shim plate of variable thickness is inserted between tie top and current rail support.
