Cat sled trains in winter and light float planes in summer eliminated supply problem over shift muskeg and made possible construction of 145 mi railroad in Northern Manitoba; project quantities include 600, 000 cu yd of rock, 2,500,000 cu yd of grading, 54 timber trestles, and 25,000 lin ft of timber box and corrugated iron culverts; illustrated description of work.
