Co-Co locomotives designed for European conditions by Baldwin Locomotive Works and Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Co; with exception of cast steel truck frames and a few other parts, they are being constructed in Holland; traction provided by six 750-v motors, each with rating of 493 hp; they give max speed of 87 mph and are nose suspended, which is radical departure from current European practice.
