Theoretical outputs of magnetometers precessing or rotating uniformly have been computed and analyzed; results of analysis are applied to interpretation of outputs of rocket borne magnetometers to determine nature of sounding rocket's angular motion in period of its flight in which aerodynamic forces are negligible; pictorial model to aid in visualizing results is described.
