Analysis of response of erector to artificially roughened test course was conducted, using various assumptions to determine relative importance of structural flexibilities and suspension system nonlinearities; mathematical model used consists of 3 distributed mass bodies representing missile, container, and tractor, 7 point masses representing wheels and axles, and interconnecting springs and dampers; reasonable agreement between analytic results and test data was achieved with analysis including structural flexibilities and suspension system nonlinearities.
