Two cars, built by Head, Wrightson and Co, for conveyance of transformers by rail; vehicles weigh 72 1/2 tons and are capable of carrying load of 135 tons concentrated on two main side beams at 20 ft centers or on three points at 30-ft centers; 6-wheel trucks are built up of riveted rolled steel sections and plates, wheels being 3 ft in diam.
