In summarizing United States Navy's aircraft-engine development, it is found that ideas are now crystallized around line of 3 sizes of aircraft engines of 800, 1200 and 1600-cu. in. capacities, which will apparently meet immediate needs of high-performance aircraft for naval aviation.
