General equations of motion are derived for spinning elastic rocket with respect to axes attached to rocket; equations contain force and moment system that includes, in addition to usual quasisteady forces and moments, those due to Magnus effects; as result, stability criteria for spinning elastic rocket are approximately derived, including those for case of rigid body and for case of nonspinning elastic rocket, which have been analyzed; comparing analytical results with digital computational results, applicability of stability criteria is examined and empirical formulas for stability boundaries are presented.
