Choice and preliminary sizing of liquid injection Thrust Vector Control TVC system can be evaluated in early design stages of vehicle system; best point of fluid injection usually occurs about 1/3 of distance from throat of nozzle to end of expansion cone; liquid or gas injection will have less weight penalty to rocket only when total burning of rocket stage is less than 60 sec; to get best reliability factor for system, it should have capability of operating in presence of contamination; basic injector valve design and performance is controlled by maximum mass flow rate, slew response, frequency response, and hysteresis; block diagram.
