Problems of high aspect ratio wings, with specific reference to Hurel-Dubois strutted wing, developed in France by M.HUREL; comparison of H.D.32 with cantilever aircraft of normal aspect ratio having same wing area and approximately same takeoff and landing weight, demonstrating emphatically superiority of Hurel's theories, in so far as pure economy of transport is considered. English translation from Luftfahrttechnik Aug 1955.
