Cranes designed by Carrick and Ritchie, Edinburgh, have capacity of 10 cwt. at radius of 10 ft., and jib can be slewed through angle of 45 dog. on each side of center line; this enables goods to be picked up from position alongside trailer attached to crane and to be deposited on trailer, which is then hauled to desired site.
