Extensive changes in Essex Challenger and Greater Hudson lines of Hudson Motor Car Co. are described; Essex engine changed to give 25 per cent more power; Hudson wheelbase lengthened and tread widened; new Essex models differ materially in appearance; accelerator well in carburetor; steering-gear ratio increased; new hood and radiator treatment for Hudson; clutch plates larger; brake horsepower increased to 91 at 3200 r.p.m.
