Review of essentials of proper airport lighting system and how they can be most practically covered; the more brilliantly airport is illuminated, if it is unscientifically done, the more dangerous it will be for landing flier; governmental requirements regarding airport beacon, illuminated wind direction indicator, boundary lights, field floodlights, obstruction lights, ceiling projector, and building flood lights are given for a rating; requirements for seaplane ports also given.
