Drag measurements made on fittings taken from typical fuselage to determine whether difference between observed full-size fuselage drag and model fuselage draw could be attributed to fittings and surface irregularities found on former and not on latter; difference between results attributed to these fittings; efforts should be made to keep all fittings close to surface and to streamline those which must project.
