In using new aviation natural gasolines which are now available, hot spot above carburetor is not necessary because these gasolines are very volatile and contain no material that will not vaporize at temperatures existing in intake manifold; excessive amount of heat applied to mixture in fuel manifold will result in decided loss of power; many grades of natural gasoline are not all suitable for use as aviation fuel.
