Accident prevention can be reduced to science; this conclusion is based on analysis of causes of accidents, which shows that not more than ten per cent are due to misadventure and therefore unpreventable, and analysis of human factor to which 85 per cent of all accidents are attributable; he stresses need of complete accident records and of educating supervisory responsibility in safety.
