Performance limits for ducted booster rockets for low speed applications and ram rockets for high speed applications are discussed; effect of aerodynamic mixing on performance is studied separately, using concept employed by A.BUSEMANN; results of study indicate that ducted rocket is probably not practical for vehicle application.
