Details and test bed trials of Yokohama-MAN KZ84/160C-type engine built at Yokohama Shipyard and Engine Works of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd for 73,000 ton tanker Olympus; at normal rating of 22,000 bhp at 115 rpm, with scavenge air pressure of 510 mm Hg, exhaust gas temperature before turbine was 390 C, and fuel consumption recorded was 156 gr/bhp-hr; further tests were made with engine developing 25,000 bhp at 119 rpm.
