System, developed by Midland-Ross Corp, is designed to cause automatic application of trailer brakes upon loss of service brake pressure, to protect against automatic application of tractor brakes except upon loss of emergency system air supply, and to permit emergency brake application in event of loss of service brake air control; it will also provide means for releasing manual emergency brake application; operation of modulated emergency valve is explained, as are valve characteristics, system timing, and installation.
