Investigation of differences in driving behavior and results of pencil and paper tests between groups of drivers convicted of careless driving and groups of drivers chosen at random; within groups of drivers, significant difference in task capability was shown between track, 30 mi/hr restricted zone and derestricted zone, task capability being greatest on track and least in 30 mi/hr zone; no significant difference between groups was in speeds at which subjects drove on track; this also applied in 30 mi/hr zone and in derestricted zone.
