24 hr satellite and navigational satellite system are discussed with respect to guidance requirements during launch, orbit transfer, final orbit injection and in-orbit correction; parametric data are presented in graphical form and numerical values given for sample problems; also discussed are selection of navigational satellite pattern, and determination of space vehicle position by use of navigational satellite system.
