Wind tunnel data on drag of Chevrolet truck-trailer combination; possible means of drag reduction examined; at about 60 mph, rolling resistance and aerodynamic drag are equal; for truck of 55,000 lb GVW, these are about 100 hp each; data indicate reductions in drag as high as 37% are possible by changing from square to round trailer front; this would result in substantial saving in power and fuel.
