New steam locomotive shed has been constructed to house about 100 units; adjacent to locomotive depot is unidirectional marshalling yard; there are 31 reception sidings and 26 long through roads, where trains needing only to change locomotives can be held; control tower is equipped with electrical switches for route setting; yard instructions are given by loudspeakers.
