At La Rosen, 5 mi west of Shreveport, La, 14-lever mechanical interlocking at crossing of Texas and New Orleans and Texas and Pacific was replaced by automatic interlocking; power for operation supplied from primary batteries; set of 16 cells of 500-a-hr primary battery, located at central point, and two home signals on T. and P., of colorlight type equipped with bullet-type, 10-v, 5-w lamps, on approach control, feed line circuits of plant.
