Streamlined car designed under direction of Livesey and Henderson and built by Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Co for service on 5 ft 6-in. gage tracks of Buenos Aires Western Railway; cruising speed 60 mph; standard Gardner 6 L 3 marine engine, developing 140 bhp at 1100 rpm, is coupled directly to main generator through flexible coupling.
