SINCE aircraft and other devices have used hydraulic systems there has been the need to test these systems. Accurate and trouble-free operation is a prerequisite of safety in the air, and as it is said that what goes up must come down the maxim must be applied equally to the controls, undercarriage etc. as it is to the aircraft itself.
