THE “L.82” has been designed as a result of close study of existing light machines in Germany and other countries. With the exception of the wing spars the whole construction is of metal, while all fittings, bushes and bolts are over-dimensioned and arranged for lubrication so as to reduce wear to the minimum. In regard to strength the machine comes, with a load of 506 lbs., within Group IV of the German Constructional Regulations, and Group S (School) of employment. It also, when carrying a load of 770 lbs., complies with the requirements of Groups III and P and may be used for the transport of passengers.
