APPLYING refinishing coats to BAC 1–11's, Boeing 737's and BAe HS125's is not a job that can be handled in a spray booth — conventional booths just do not come in that size. In consequence, despite fitting extensive air extraction facilities, aircraft refinishers find that using traditional air spray equipment means that the hangar is often shrouded in paint overspray and at considerable discomfort to the sprayers.
