The recovery, in 1966, of a DC 8 at Heathrow, was one of the first examples of using two prototype 25 ton pneumatic elevators. The elevator bags are constructed of Neoprene/nylon with an easily portable inflation and compressor system and made by RFD-GQ Pneumatic Elevator Systems.
