The present invention relates to an electric propulsion apparatus for ships, and more specifically to, a modularized electric propulsion apparatus for ships in which a switchboard for power distribution, an inverter for power conversion, and a motor are modularized in a single case and can thus be easily mounted after removing an existing engine of a ship, and the distance between motor rotary shafts can be reduced even when the apparatus is mounted in a dual configuration, thus allowing the apparatus to be installed in a minimal installation space.
