Provided is an air brake dash valve lockout 10 comprising a resiliently elastic arcuate collar 18 configured for fitment about a shaft 14 of an air brake dash valve 12, in use. The arcuate collar 18 defines a peripheral groove 20 about an upper portion 22 thereof to form a flanged upper end 24, said peripheral groove 20 shaped and dimensioned for receiving jaws 28 of a lockout hasp 26 therein. The collar 18 also defines opposed corresponding apertures 34 at lateral edges 36 of the collar 18 below said flanged upper end 24, the opposed apertures 34 for complementarily receiving a shackle 38 of a lock 40 therethrough.
