Provided is a device which makes full use of the advantages of a hydraulic control device, while performing highly accurate control in low-torque regions, and improving the responsiveness of hydraulic systems. This hydraulic control device comprises a first characteristic (enclosed pressurization) which is obtained by closing an opening/closing valve (43) and driving an oil pump (35), a second characteristic (enclosed depressurization) obtained by disabling the driving of the oil pump (35) and opening the opening/closing valve (43), and a third characteristic (flow control) obtained by opening the opening/closing valve (43) and driving the oil pump (35). In a predetermined low-torque region, control is performed on the basis of the third characteristic, in a high torque region control is performed on the basis of the first characteristic, during depressurization, control is performed on the basis of the second characteristic, and control is performed so as to immediately response to a change in acceleration exceeding a predetermined value by increasing command oil pressure. If a change in command torque exceeding a predetermined threshold value occurs during control on the basis of the third characteristic, the opening/closing valve is temporarily closed (enclosed pressurization) and pressure is increased rapidly.
