The invention discloses a super-long roof board stay-cable conveyer and a conveying method thereof and belongs to the technical field of engineering machinery. The stay-cable conveyer comprises a plurality of lifting branch units arranged side by side, wherein each lifting branch unit comprises a lifter, a stay cable, a lifting rope and an anchor pile; each anchor pile is fixed in a designated position on the ground; the other ends of the stay cables penetrate through the hollow cylindrical parts of the lifters and then are fixed on the top of a roof parapet wall; a roof board is placed at the right-angled baffle parts at the lower ends of the lifters; and the roof board and the lifters are lifted to a roof along the stay cables through the lifting ropes so as to finish the vertical conveying process of the roof board. The conveying method is not limited by the length of the roof board, can adjust the number of the lifting branch units according to the length of the roof board, and can be popularized and used in common industrial factory buildings and some civilian facilities.
