A composition obtained by blending 55 to 75 parts by mass of a carbon black (1) for which the nitrogen adsorption specific surface area is 35 to less than 50 m2/g and 5 to 20 parts by mass of a carbon black (2) for which the nitrogen adsorption specific surface area is 50 to 95 m2/g, the total of the carbon blacks (1) and (2) being 60 to 95 parts by mass, into 100 parts by mass of a rubber component comprising: 30 to 70 mass% of a butadiene rubber for which the cis-1,4 bond content is 97% or higher, the Mooney viscosity (ML1+4) at 100 DEG C is 45 or higher, and (T-cp)/(ML1+4), which is the ratio of the 5 mass% toluene solution viscosity (T-cp) [cps] at 25 DEG C in relation to the Mooney viscosity is 2.0 or higher; and 30 to 70 mass% of another diene-based rubber.
