The invention provides a driver panoramic video self-monitoring system based on a traffic television network. The driver panoramic video self-monitoring system is composed of a traffic monitoring camera, a distributed video signal transmitting base station, a wireless video signal receiving device and a panoramic video self-monitoring television. The traffic monitoring camera is connected with the distributed video signal transmitting base station, the wireless video signal receiving device is connected with the panoramic video self-monitoring television, and video signals of the same channel are adopted in the distributed video signal transmitting base station and the wireless video signal receiving device for wireless transmission. Video information recorded by the panoramic video self-monitoring television and video information recorded by a traffic road management department are consistent, traffic accidents can be quickly, conveniently, justly and transparently settled, self-monitoring operation can be conducted in real time once a motor vehicle driven by each driver sets out, harmful driving behaviors are avoided, and the drivers strive to be civilized drivers observing laws and disciplines.
