The invention discloses a new transformer core residual magnetism demagnetization method based on an LC Plus four-quadrant converter oscillation circuit. The method comprises the following steps of when a multi-stream tractive power supply system is converted from a direct current supply mode to an alternating current supply mode, connecting a single-phase multi-winding electric locomotive traction transformer tractive winding with the four-quadrant convertor, connecting the four-quadrant convertor with a direct-current voltage-stabilizing capacitor, simultaneously disconnecting a circuit breaker between the capacitor and a DC/AC (Direct Current/Alternating Current) inverter so as to form an oscillation circuit which is only composed of a single-phase multi-winding traction transformer, the four-quadrant convertor and the capacitor. By virtue of performing the coordination control on the four-quadrant convertor, a damped oscillation current is formed in the tractive winding and thus the purpose of removing the residual magnetism in the transformer core is achieved. According to the new transformer core residual magnetism demagnetization technical scheme, existing equipment and components in the electric locomotive traction driving system are completely utilized, and the system is not needed to be additionally provided with a degausser, so that the equipment utilization rate is high.
