The invention discloses a meter-gauge motor train unit bogie frame secondary air spring outer side suspension mechanism. The mechanism comprises an air spring, a height valve, a transverse shock absorber, an anti-crawling shock absorber, a transverse stop catch and a differential valve, and is characterized in that two cross beam pipes of a structure extend to the outer sides of side beams to form outer cantilever structures; openings are correspondingly formed in the two prolonged cross beam pipes and are communicated with a longitudinal beam; the two cross beam pipes and longitudinal beams on the two sides form attached air chambers; the attached air chambers are the same high as the side beams; a secondary air spring mounting base is arranged on each attached air chamber. Due to the fact that the two cross beam pipes of the structure extend to the outer sides of the side beams to form the outer cantilever structures, the openings are correspondingly formed in the two prolonged cross beam pipes and are communicated with the longitudinal beam, the two cross beam pipes and the longitudinal beams on the two sides form the attached air chambers, the attached air chambers are the same high as the side beams, and the secondary air spring mounting base is arranged on each attached air chamber, the transverse span of the secondary air spring mounting bases is widened, the stability of train operation is improved while the anti-dumping performance of train operation is improved, and the requirement on safety of train operation is met.
