The invention belongs to the technical field of lifting machinery, and particularly relates to a multifunctional portal crane. The multifunctional portal crane comprises a trolley, an automatic discharge mechanism and a hopper, wherein the trolley comprises a trolley frame, an operation mechanism, a lifting mechanism and a lifting tool; the lifting mechanism comprises a motor, a speed reducer, a brake, a left lifting drum, a right lifting drum and corresponding steel ropes and pulley blocks; the motor is arranged on the trolley frame, a lifting tool cross beam is arranged below the trolley frame, the pulley blocks are symmetrically fixed on two sides of the top of the lifting tool cross beam, two sides of the bottom of the lifting tool cross beam are symmetrically provided with lifting hooks, and the two lifting hooks are respectively hooked on support shafts positioned in the middles of the left end and right end of the hopper; the automatic discharge mechanism comprises a cable drum and an electric hoist; and the cable drum is arranged at the top of the trolley frame, and the electric hoist is arranged at the top of the lifting tool cross beam. The multifunctional portal crane disclosed by the invention can be used for discharging by automatically overturning the hopper at any position inside an operating zone within a lifting range, meets the requirement for achieving the discharge in two directions which are parallel or perpendicular to a main beam, and has the advantages of wide application and convenience in use.
