The invention discloses a self-locking disc brake, which comprises a braking force bearing support, a brake arm and a lift mechanism, wherein the brake arm comprises a main body, a brake end, a friction plate and a mounting part, the end face of the brake end of the brake arm is arc-shaped, a circle center P of the arc at the end face is arranged above on one side, which is far away from the brake disc, of a rotating center O of the brake arm; the brake end is provided with a friction plate seat, the friction plate is arranged in the friction plate seat and tightly clings to and completely covers the end face of the brake end. According to the self-locking disc brake, the two end faces of a disc, such as two end faces of the brake disc on one end of a winding part of a winding drum, are driven to achieve the purposes of driving the winding drum to brake and stopping a weight to move. The self-locking disc brake has the advantages of simple structure, small occupied area, quick brake response, strong brake performance, safety and reliability.
