The invention belongs to the technical field of car networking, and particularly relates to a traffic accident rescuing system. The system comprises a vehicle-mounted terminal installed on a vehicle, a data center electrically connected with the vehicle-mounted terminal and a rescuing processing platform electrically connected with the data center, wherein the vehicle-mounted terminal comprises a GPS satellite module, a GSM module, a 3D power acceleration inductor and a CPU processor, the PGS satellite module is used for accurately positioning the vehicle, the GSM module is used for transmitting voice information, the 3D power acceleration inductor is used for judging whether a collision or side turning happens to the vehicle or not, and the CPU processor is used for processing data. The system can rescue a fault vehicle more conveniently and reasonably, and meanwhile, the fault vehicle can be effectively positioned, called and rescued. The invention further discloses a traffic accident rescuing method.
