The invention discloses a security configuration method of bumpers. According to a configuration mode, air generators and airbags are arranged at the centers of a front bumper and a back bumper. The air generators are connected with sensors, electric control units and follow current devices. The sensors sense quick changing of car speed during car collision and transmit sensed signals to the electric control units which judge and process received signals. After collision intensity and collision position signals are judged, ignition signals are sent to the air generator at the head bumper or the tail bumper, after the air generator receives the ignition signals, ignition is carried out quickly, a large amount of air is generated to inflate the airbags, and the follow current devices are electronic circuits of energy-storage capacitors. After car collision, secondary collision can be effectively avoided, severe damage to personnel and a car body is avoided, and meanwhile the effect of protecting of front car or back car personnel and the car body is achieved.
